Laura Gosnell

Laura Gosnell may have a degree in Environmental Biology, but over the years her passion for cooking led her to become a chef. As an entrepreneur with a commitment to promoting B.C.’s freshest sustainable food products, Chef Gosnell finds creative ways to showcase her culinary talents, while sharing healthy food-ideas with other foodies. In addition to being creative in the kitchen, Chef Gosnell finds time to set aside her chef’s hat and craft beautiful works of pottery, as well as taking on a volunteer role as an environmental steward.

Angelo Prosperi-Porta

Chef and Author 2:30 performance
Chef Angelo Prosperi-Porta’s cookbook Honey is chock full of delicious dishes and snacks that would be perfect for Feastival. Angelo could speak to how simple it is to incorporate honey into your everyday diet, and to the heath and ecological benefits, as well. Angelo’s recipes are easy-to-follow and user friendly, and the chef is incredibly friendly and helpful. He used to teach at VIU and Camosun. Angelo recently relocated from Surrey, where he founded and ran Coopers Cove Guest House, to Victoria.
